Alexandre "Alexonmoon" Luneau, a French online high-stakes cash game specialist based in London, is now ready to head back to his motherland as he joins the team at Winamax, France's largest online poker site.

At Winamax, Luneau finds himself amongst a lineup of poker pros that includes the likes of Patrick Bruel, Davidi Kitai, Gaëlle Baumann, Michel Abécassis, Bruno Lopes, and Sylvain Loosli.

Featured in the award-winning poker documentary Nosebleed by Victor Saumont, Luneau is a well-known name in the online poker scene where he plays as "Alexonmoon" on Full Tilt, and as "BiatchPeople" on PokerStars.

Regular in high-stakes games, Luneau reached a deal with Winamax after years spent crushing the games at the highest limits and earning the respect from the poker community for proving to be one of the best mixed games players in the world.

According to Winamax, Luneau decided to join the room's team with a very precise goal in mind: to repeat his success in the cash games in tournament poker, and to win an event at the next edition of the World Series of Poker in 2016.

"During the next summer, [Luneau] will head to Las Vegas with a very intense programme that includes all the biggest events in the calendar," Winamax stated. "This will include the $50,000 Poker Players' Championship event, a tournament that many consider to be one of the toughest poker events in the world."

The manager of the Winamax Team Pro, Stephane Matheu, welcomed the player and said that he is "happy and enthusiastic to welcome [Luneau] in the team."

A similar enthusiasm was shared also by 2013 WSOP Main Event finalist Loosli, who added that Juneau "is a great guy and an excellent player, probably the most brilliant one I know. He loves the game and he works hard: he didn't get where he is today because he's been lucky."

Luneau will begin his new adventure at Winamax on Nov. 7, by participating in the opening of the fifth season of the Winamax Poker Tour to be held at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.

After that, he will join the Winamax SISMIX festival to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, in May 2016, and fly to Monte Carlo to show his skills in the next European Poker Tour Grand Final.
