Once again, Prague is going to be the place to be in December, as the Czech capital gets ready for an exciting series of international live poker events.

The Eureka Poker Tour ant the European Poker Tour will literally invade the Atrium Prague Poker at the Hilton from December 5-16, while open-face Chinese (OFC) poker lovers will get the opportunity to play their favorite game in the second-ever OFC World Championship.

Set to run at the King's Casino at the Corinthia Hotel from December 6-9, the event organized by Tonybet Poker aims to replicate the success of 2014 stop when the first edition of the competition created a new record for number of players in a live OFC poker event, as well as boasted the biggest OFC prize pool in the history. Chess pro Jennifer Shahade won the €10k High Roller event for €218,500.

Based on the success of last year's event, we are ready to surprise everyone with a new, exciting edition of the OFC World Championship.

Following the same formula used one year ago, the 2015 OFC World Championship will feature a €1,000 Tonybet OFC World Championship Main Event on December 8, and a €10,000 Tonybet OFC High Roller reentry event on December 7.

This year, however, the second edition of the event will also include a €350 Tonybet OFC Progressive Pineapple event on December 6.

"When we launched the first OFC World Championship in December 2014, we knew we were onto something the poker community wanted to be a part of," a representative from Tonybet told PokerNews. "What we didn't know, however, was how eager everyone was to play in an international OFC poker event. The number of players and the mood at the tables have been just amazing."

"Based on the success of last year's event, we are ready to surprise everyone with a new, exciting edition of the OFC World Championship. Thanks to the feedback we received we are now able to offer something even better than one year ago - and the addition of a Progressive Pineapple event is a clear sign of this."

The event, which will be covered live here on PokerNews, will also give everyone the chance to play with the latest ambassador of Tonybet Poker, Isabelle Mercier.

"The OFC World Championship in Prague will be the very first time I get to play my favorite card game in an organized live event," Mercier said. "I haven't been travelling much lately, but for OFC, I would travel the world to play! I expect to have a lot of fun while I am over there and meet with a lot of old friends. Make no mistake, though, I have my eyes firmly fixed on the title of World Champion and I'm very keen to get my hands on the Progressive Pineapple tournament trophy as it is one of my favorite OFC variations!"
