partypoker Launches Daily UK & Ireland Majors with Over $400K in Guarantees
partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) have furthered their partnership for players calling the United Kingdom and Ireland home, this time in the shape of a trio of exclusive tournaments that add more than $400,000 worth of guarantees across the month.
Dedicated to their "For the People" cause, partypoker and DTD have created three daily tournaments with buy-ins to suit all bankroll and skill levels that are only available to players in the UK and Ireland. These buy-ins start as low as $1.10 and top out at a still-affordable $27.50.
The smaller of the three events kicks off every night at 6 p.m. local time and is called the Daily Major: $1,000 Gtd. Nano. This $1.10 buy-in event carries a $1,000 guarantee that is made up partly of 40 $5.50 tickets that can be used to enter the next tournament.
This Daily Major: $2,000 Gtd. Micro commands a $5.50 buy-in, starts at 7 p.m. nightly, and boasts of a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool. As with the smaller Nano, the Micro awards part of its prize pool in tournament tickets, namely 20 $27.50 tickets that players can then use to enter the next step up for free.
The only thing mini about the Daily Major: $10,000 Mini is the buy-in. For $27.50, players have the opportunity to play for a share of $10,000, of which 20 $120 tickets are awarded. These $120 tickets can be used for any DTD live or online event with the same buy-in, including the Grand Prix Million that is set to return in 2016.

Earn points for the UK Team Challenge
Players who are registered for the UK Team Challenge earn points by playing in either (or both) the Micro and the Mini. Special Editions of the UK Majors
Partypoker and DTD have promised to regularly run special editions of these UK Daily Majors where the prize pool is given a significant boost. Once such Super Sunday ran on Aug. 9 and saw the $5.50 Micro become the Super Micro and feature a $5,000 prize pool and awarding 40 $27.50 tickets.
