$5M Guaranteed MicroMillions Returns to PokerStars on July 16
PokerStars has announced the dates and schedule for the 11th edition of it MicroMillions tournament series.
MicroMillions begins on July 16 and by the time July 26 comes around at least $5,000,000 will have been awarded across 100 events. This huge sum of money would be impressive on its own, but when you consider the largest buy-in during MicroMillions is a mere $22 the amount is flabbergasting.
That $22 buy-in is reserved for the $1 million guaranteed, of which $100,000 is reserved for the champion, Main Event on July 26. When the MicroMillions Main Event last ran, "BgsaPnaples" emerged victorious and walked away with $110,742 for his $22 investment.
In addition to the 100 micro-stakes events, the MicroMillions leader board make a return, meaning one lucky player will win six months’ worth of Sunday Million tickets worth a cool $5,590. The player who won this prize at MicroMIllions 10 was Ukraine’s "PsychoPol" who played in all but one of the 100 events, winning $8,801.97 in total and of course 26 Sunday Million tickets.
