SHRPO To Televise “Big Four” with a Combined $7.5 Million In Guaranteed Prize Pools 0001

On Aug. 18, 2015, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL., will host a finale including not one, not two, not three, but four final tables. Deemed the "Big Four," Seminole is marketing the effort as the "first-ever four-event finale," and it will include the $5,250 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) Championship, the $25,400 High Roller, a $2,650 no-limit hold'em side event, and a $1,100 no-limit hold'em side event.

The "Big Four" will take place at Hard Rock Live on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and it will all be televised on CBS Sports Network and live streamed online. Fourteen-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth will host the broadcasts and provide commentary for all four of the events.

The "Big Four" will carry a combined $7.5 million in guaranteed prize pools, which is sure to get any poker player's and fan's adrenaline pumping. The $5,250 SHRPO Championship alone will boast a $5 million guaranteed prize pool. This marquee event will also guarantee $1 million to first place and a minimum payout of $7,500.

In addition, the $25,400 High Roller event has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool with $350,000 guaranteed for the winner plays a minimum payout of $37,500. The $2,650 side event also has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool with a first-place guarantee of $200,000 and a minimum payout of $3,750. The $1,100 side event boasts a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, plus $100,000 guaranteed to first place and a minimum payout of $1,500.
