Cahill vs. Liberto for the Event #51: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max Bracelet
Day 3 of Event #51: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max saw the final 35 players of a 1,043-player field return with the plan of playing down to a winner. The field managed to whittle itself down to the final two players, but an impromptu Day 4 will be needed to determine if it will be Ireland's Seamus Cahill or the United States' Justin Liberto who will walk away with the bracelet and the $640,711 first-place prize.
The former will hold 9.73 million in chips to the latter's 5.925 million when action recommences at 1:00 p.m. local time on Sunday.
Among those to fall on Day 3 and lay claim to a portion of the $2,847,390 prize pool were Timothy Adams (26th - $15,489), Amir Lehavot (23rd - $19,020), Rep Porter (19th - $19,020), Taylor Paur (18th - $19,020), Mohsin Charania (17th - $23,918), Jason Les (15th - $23,918), Stephen Chidwick (13th - $23,918), and Kiryl Radzivonau (3rd - $251,168).
According to updates from the event, Radzivonau fell on Hand #80 of the final table when he raised to 160,000 from the button and Liberto defended his big blind to see a flop of Q♠5♦3♦. Liberto check-called a bet of 185,000 and the check-called one of 285,000 on the 2♦ turn. When the 5♠ completed the board on the river, Liberto checked for a third time and called when Radzivonau jammed for 1.24 million. Radzivonau tabled the A♦4♥ for a straight, but it was no good as Liberto held a six-high straight with the [4c6h[

Hollywood Screenwriter Carol Fuchs Wins the $1,500 Dealers Choice
Hollywood screenwriter Carol Fuchs took down the 2015 WSOP Event #52: $1,500 Dealers Choice Saturday, becoming this first woman to win this year and denying the event's inaugural champion his bid to repeat.
From 357 entries, just 11 players returned to finish out the event's third day with defending champion Robert Mizrachi second in chips and Matt Szymaszek holding the lead. Poker Players Championship fifth-place finisher Chris Klodnicki and Scott Clements, looking for his third final table of the 2015 WSOP, were also in the mix.
Mizrachi could do no better than third this time, as Fuchs, an amateur player who wrote the screenplay for the 2007 film No Reservations starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart, went on to defeat Ilya Krupin heads up to collect a $127,735 first-place prize and her first WSOP gold bracelet.
"I'm so overwhelmed," she said afterwards. "I'm not an idiot, I know what I'm doing and I know the games, but I don't have anywhere near the experience of a lot of these guys. I'm as blown away by this as everybody else is."
More on Fuchs and her incredible win can be found here.

Russia's Gerasimova Leads Event #53: Ladies Championship
Event #53: Ladies Championship originally began with 795 players – which created a prize pool of $715,500 – but on Saturday just 121 returned for Day 2 action, each looking to make the money at the top 81. Unfortunately 40 had to leave empty handed, and PokerNews Social Media Manager Pam Maldonado was among them.
Maldonado took an ugly beat in Level 12 (600/1,200/200) to fall just four spots shy of the money. It happened when Chellie Campbell raised to 4,000 from the small blind, Maldonado called from the big, and the flop came down Q♦A♦7♥. Maldonado got the last of her chips in holding the A♠K♠ for top pair, but it was no good as Campbell held the A♣7♠ for two pair. Neither the J♠ turn nor 6♣ river helped Maldonado, and she fell agonizingly short of her first WSOP cash.
Those who did take home a payday were Abbey Daniels (73rd - $1,781), Marsha Wolak (66th - $2,010), Ebony Kenney (64th - $2,010), Lacey Jones (58th - $2,353), Jessica Dawley (32nd - $3,971), and Day 1 chip leader Irina Batorevich (12th - $9,101).
By the end of the night, just 10 players remained in contention for the $153,876 first-place prize with Russia's Liya Gerasimova and her stack of 896,000 leading the way.

Jason Mercier Leads the Final 21 in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship
Just 21 players remain in Event #54: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship and three-time WSOP bracelet winner Jason Mercier has the lead.
A host of well known players will also be in the hunt for the $927,655 first-place prize when play resumes at 2 p.m. local time Sunday, including Davidi Kitai, Dan Smith, Shaun Deeb and Hasan Habib.
A late rush by Mercier that included picking off a Simon Trumper bluff saw him end the day as the only player over one million in chips. Mercier already has a bracelet win this summer in Event #32: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed and his two others came in Pot-Limit Omaha events in 2009 and 2011.
