Win a Seat to the $5 Million WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Tonight on DraftKings! 0001

Ever since Chris Moneymaker turned a cheap satellite seat into millions at the World Series of Poker, the ultimate dream for every small stakes player has been to ride a satellite wave that crests with a huge tournament win. For years, the most accessible and obvious way to do that was playing poker satellites online, with small rebuy tournaments enabling players to get into big buy-in live events incredibly cheaply.

However, times have changed, and players have a new outlet available to get into big live events for a fraction of the cost: daily fantasy sports. DraftKings has partnered with the WSOP and the World Poker Tour to offer satellites that feature packages covering entry fee, travel, accommodation, and spending money to these tournaments. As if poker players needed more incentive to enter the thrilling and potentially profitable world of DFS.

On Friday, April 10, DraftKings will run a 150-player contest that awards a $6,300 WPT package to the winner. The entry fee is $55, and the “WPT VIP Package” includes a slew of goodies. Not only will the winner get a $3,500 seat WPT Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fla., he or she will also claim $1,000 for airfare, a six-night hotel voucher at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, a “behind the scenes final table experience” and first row seat with the lovely Royal Flush Girls, an exclusive DraftKings swag bag, and a dinner and strategy session with featured WPT players.

All you have to do is head over to DraftKings, make a deposit (if you haven't already), find the WPT SHRPO contest in the lobby, and create your team of eight NBA players using the allotted salary cap. Then watch your players rack up points — hopefully enough to secure your seat to the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open!

Last year event attracted 1,795 entries for a prize pool of just under $5.8 million. Eric Afriat topped a stacked final table featuring Mukul Pahuja, James Mackey, Jacob Bazeley, Matt Stout, and Chance Kornuth. He got more than $1 million for that win, and this year it could be you competing for six figures against a final table of poker legends.

The last WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open satellite on DraftKings will be on Saturday, so don't miss out on your final chances to win the VIP poker experience of a lifetime!
