Poland's 'bladsonpoker' Wins $1,000,000 at PokerStars Live on Twitch!
Those who joined Friend of PokerStars Jamie Staples in his last live stream on Twitch.tv on April 28 witnessed a memorable moment in poker's history. Staples live-streamed Poland's 'bladsonpoker' winning a massive prize at a Spin & Go game on PokerStars.
Part of the ongoing "PokerStars Makes Millionaires" campaign, the $5 buy-in special Spin & Go allowed bladsonpoker to leave the table $1 million richer after only seven minutes and eighteen seconds of play.
It took in fact nothing but twenty-nine hands to bladsonpoker to beat opponents 'hooomlesnurr' from Norway and 'ROIiver CEO' from China, and pocket the life-changing prize. hooomlesnurr and ROIiver CEO left with a consolation prize of $100,000 each.
As pointed out by PokerStars, while playing the $1 Million Spin & Go, the Polish mobile millionaire was also registered in other tournaments, including a $4.40 No Limit Hold'em tournament with 4,767 other players which he continued to play from his mobile phone even after the $1 million win.
bladsonpoker is now the the 24th player to ever score a win of $1 million or more in the history of online poker, and the second winner of the special $1 million Spin & Go tournaments launched by PokerStars within the "PokerStars Makes Millionaires" campaign.
Before him, on April 22, the top prize went to Russia's "CccpVodka", who took down the $1 million top prize after only 5 minutes and 59 seconds of fast-paced action.
