When it comes to poker on TV, the World Poker Tour (WPT) has graced airwaves for well over a decade. On Sunday, Feb. 15, the tour will premiere the first of 35 episodes from Season XIII on FOX Sports Networks (FSN).

"Very few television series have the longevity of the World Poker Tour, and this season we continue to evolve our presentation of WPT's action-packed poker tournaments with episodes that appeal to both casual viewers and hardcore poker enthusiasts," said WPT Supervising Producer Mandy Glogow. "We thoroughly enjoy telling the stories of poker players as they compete for life-changing windfalls, and look forward to showcasing Season XIII to the world throughout the next several months."

As part of Season XIII, which is sponsored by ClubWPT.com, the WPT introduced an upgraded final table set, an enhanced Monster Bar, and will give viewers a behind-the-scenes access to some of the premiere casino properties around the world. Returning for the 13th consecutive year are commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten, who will be joined once again by anchor Lynn Gilmartin.

The WPT Season XIII broadcast will feature episodes from numerous properties including the WPT Legends of Poker at The Bicycle Casino, partypoker.net WPT Montreal at Playground Poker Club, WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio, WPT L.A. Poker Classic at Commerce Casino, WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star at Bay 101 Casino, and the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

In addition, both the WPT bestbet Jacksonville Bounty Scramble at bestbet Jacksonville and the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic at the Fallsview Casino Resort have returned to the schedule. Finally, on April 19, FSN will also air the WPT Monster Invitational, a made-for-TV, winner-take-all final table including Antonio Esfandiari, Vanessa Selbst, Phil Laak, David Williams, Scotty Nguyen, and Raw Deal host Tony Dunst.

"Following the outstanding success of Season XII, the World Poker Tour has upped the ante for Season XIII with an upgraded set; the addition of customized Hublot watches for all of our televised winners; return trips to bestbet Jacksonville and the Fallsview Casino Resort; and an unprecedented four events from Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, including the WPT Monster Invitational," said WPT President Adam Pliska. "We are proud to introduce all of these new changes to our loyal viewers, while also maintaining the rich legacy of the World Poker Tour with our high production standards and the return of legendary co-commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten for a 13th consecutive season."

Following each Sunday night premiere, episodes will re-air throughout the subsequent week on both FSN and FS2. Check your local listings for more information.
