Many poker players believe London is the best place in Europe to play live poker tournaments for a reasonable buy-in. In addition to the many daily and weekly tournaments already available in the British capital, there are two great poker series coming up soon at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City.

WPTN Hits London in February

The partypoker presents World Poker Tour National (WPTN) London series runs from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15, featuring three events with £300,000. The series is highlighted with a reasonable £200 buy-in four-day partypoker WPT Aspers Accumulator providing plenty of action with two opening days and 20,000 in chips. The tournament also provides a deep structure with 30-minute blind levels on Day 1, 40-minute blind levels on Day 2, and 60-minute blind levels for the final day.

Players can also get into this tournament cheaper by qualifying via a live £25 satellite on Feb. 12 or by winning a seat of a $800 package on partypoker.

Also on the schedule are the £110 buy-in WPTN Experience (24-minute blind levels and 15,000 chips) on Feb. 14, and the £55 WPTN Turbo Charged Deepstack (15-minute blind levels and 20,000 chips) on Feb. 15.

The PKR Live Returns to London in March

The PKR Live is also returning to London from March 20-22, featuring a three-day £300 buy-in tournament with a guaranteed £50,000 prize pool at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City.

This deep stack tournament provides plenty of play with 30,000 starting chips and 40-minute blind levels with the winner of the tournament guaranteed to bring home at least £10,000.

The best way for players to qualify into this tournament is to play at PKR Poker, where satellites start at under $1 for either a seat or a PKR Live package valued at $800.

Players making it into the tournament via this path will also be invited to a special PKR qualifier party on March 21.
