Best Players Are Always Looking to Improve

Similar to just about any type of work or hobby, to find yourself on the top of the game of poker and remain there usually requires constant learning and an open mind.

In a blog titled Always learning, Coimbra outlines his plan which includes working with mental game coach Jared Tendler to work on the mental side of the game, and to watch videos of professionals he feels he can pick up a thing or two from.

From Zero to Hero

Almost every poker player at one time or another dreamed to go from busto to robusto. In some cases, this only requires some luck to bink a tournament, however, in many other cases this requires hard work and dedication to the game.

Ryan "riske88" Riske tells his story on the Full Tilt blog titled My Poker Story: Zero to $40,000, which starts with him depositing $50 he won in a winner-takes-all home game onto Full Tilt and ran it up with hard work and focus to $40,000 within two years.

Riske steadily moved up limits when his bankroll allowed and in 2014 was able to play enough to become a Black Card member on Full Tilt and achieve Supernova status on PokerStars.

Read on the Full Tilt blog about how Ryan Riske went from zero to hero.
