PKR Poker Announces PKR 3.0: "The Beginning of an Exciting New Chapter"
After a long time spent on its development, PKR Poker announced it will soon launch a brand new version of its award-winning 3D poker client.
"It has been a while in the making but 3.0 is almost here and it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for PKR and our players," PKR head of PR Dan Grant said.
Due to release by the end of October, the so-called PKR 3.0 is expected to bring some important changes to the client currently in use at PKR Poker.
"Although we’ve further enhanced the graphics, this software release is about functionality," Grant continued.
According to the poker room, the PKR 3.0 client has been developed to reflect the way online poker has changed over the years, and to make "players' lives easier by enabling them to get to the action more quickly and to get even more enjoyment from their experience."
Among the most significant enhancements of PKR's desktop software are the avatar editor and signature game graphics, which are traditionally considered to be PKR's most distinctive features.
PKR has also released a short video teaser to hint at some of the changes in the new client.
