Don't Miss the MSPT $200K Guaranteed Main Event at FireKeepers in Michigan
Fresh off another successful stop at the Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) will travel to Battle Creek, Michigan this weekend for the next stop at the FireKeepers Casino. The popular venue will host the MSPT series from Oct. 11-19, highlighted by a $1,100 Main Event with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The stop will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 12:00 p.m. with a $250 qualifier which will see the top 20 percent of the field punch a ticket to the $1,100 Main Event — also known as the Michigan State Poker Championship. FireKeepers Casino will then host qualifiers every day leading up to Day 1a of the Main Event on Oct. 16.
The Main Event will offer three separate Day 1 flights, at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and then noon on Friday and Saturday. Each starting flight will have 14 40-minute levels and players will have the option to re-enter on Day 1b and 1c. Those who survive on Day 1 will combine on Sunday at 10 a.m. and play until a champion is crowned. The 10-handed final table will be live streamed on a 15-minute delay here at PokerNews.com.

"Last time we were there, Jason Zarlenga won his first MSPT title, and then he went on to capture another a few weeks ago in Milwaukee to become the all-time MSPT money earner.
