RunGoodGear.com Poker Series Returns to Downstream Casino for Season Finale
Fresh of a successful stop in Tulsa, Okla., the RunGoodGear.com Poker Series is gearing up for its final stop of 2014. The tour heads back to Downstream Casino, located right outside of Joplin, Missouri, where it will again offer its signature player-friendly structures, satellite guarantees, and added-value tournaments.
The RunGoodGear.com Poker Series Downstream Casino will run from Oct. 1-5. As always, the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand during the $675 buy-in Main Event from Oct. 3-5 to capture all of the action. The flagship tournament has two starting flights and features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. A $10,000 2015 WSOP Main Event seat will go to the winner.
Downstream Casino is where the inaugural RunGoodGear.com Poker Series took place back in March. RunGood Pro Bernard Lee bested a field of 344 entrants to win the Main Event for $47,555. The runner-up in that event was fellow RunGood Pro Ross Bybee, who took down the RunGoodGear.com Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event last week.
Ten RunGood Pros will play host throughout the season-ending stop. Among the pros already confirmed for the series are Lee, Amanda Baker, Chris Conrad, Ryan Tepen, and Oklahoma native Huy Nguyen.

Downstream Casino and Resort will be providing special room rates during the RunGood series next month. Players can use the code “POKER” when reserving a room online, or mention the RunGood Poker Series when reserving a room by phone. Rates start at $99 for one night and go as low as $69 per night for four nights.
