Borgata Winter Poker Open Day 6: Bracelet Winner David Arsht Wins $500 H.O.R.S.E. Event
The 2014 Borgata Winter Poker Open continued Sunday with Day 6 action from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Now that the commotion surrounding the cheating incident in Event #1 is dying down, the focus is on the action in the 22 other events of the popular annual series.
Three more winners were crowned on Day 6. David Arsht (pictured) took down Event 6: $500 H.O.R.S.E.; Richard Gargel won Event 7: $340 Seniors NLHE; and Pat Knoll emerged victorious in Event 9: $300 Ladies Deep Stack NLHE Re-Entry. Meanwhile, Event 8: $400 $250,000 Guaranteed Deeper Stack NLHE Re-Entry kicked off with the first of three Day 1 flights.

Event 6: $500 H.O.R.S.E.
David Arsht outlasted a field of 113 to take down the $500 H.O.R.S.E. tournament at the Borgata Winter Poker Open for $14,796 prize. Arsht, who won a World Series of Poker bracelet in a $1,500 limit hold'em event in 2012, said he was patient at the final table before putting it into high-gear to emerge with the title.
"I got lucky in hold'em and made a few big hands," he told PokerNews after his win. "People started putting each other [all-in], and I just sat back and watched. All of a sudden, I had all of the chips."

Event 7: $340 Seniors NLHE
Richard Gargel outlasted a field of 271 runners to claim a $22,080 first-place prize in the $340 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em event. After a grueling 18 hours of play, Gargel finally finished off the tournament when his K♦J♣ came from behind to clip the J♠J♥ of Natale Kuey. With the win, Gargel nearly tripled his live tournament career winnings of $8,235.

Event 9: $300 Ladies Deep Stack NLHE Re-Entry
Pat Knoll claimed victory in the $300 buy-in Ladies Deep Stack No-Limit Hold'em tournament early Monday monring. Knoll outlasted a field of 134 to claim the $10,138 first-place prize. The one-day tournament lasted from noon until just after 5 a.m., when Knoll's A♣5♦ held up against runner-up Megan Milburn's 7♠5♠.
