WSOP.com Online Championships Begin Friday in Nevada!
The WSOP.com Online Championships begin Friday, Oct. 25 as a nine-event series featuring $500,000 in added money. The series jumpstarts with a $100K Freeroll starting at 7 p.m. followed by eight additional events with added prizes ranging from $10K to $75K. Closing out the series is a $215 buy-in $75K Added No-Limit Hold'em Main Event set for Nov. 2.
As if the huge prizes weren't enough, the winners from each of the nine events will earn a seat into the $100K Championship Freeroll. These players, collectively named the “Online Nine,” will play against one another in a special sit-n-go at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino on Nov. 4 before the start of the 2013 WSOP Main Event final table. The nine players will play down to heads-up play, with the final two players returning the following day to compete heads up live at the Penn & Teller Theater. A top prize of $50,000 will go to the winner, while second place will earn $30,000, and third place will take home $20,000.

Also running right now is your chance to win a seat into the 2014 WSOP Main Event. From now until Nov. 4, if you play 250 raked hands on any ring game in a one-week period, you will be entered in an online freeroll for a chance to win a $10,000 seat into the 2014 WSOP Main Event.
To qualify for our online freeroll, which will be held on Nov. 6, you'll need to play 250 raked hands of any ring game at WSOP.com between:
- Oct. 1 at 12:01 a.m. PST through Oct. 7 at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Oct. 8 at 12:01 a.m. PST through Oct. 14 at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Oct. 15 at 12:01 a.m. PST through Oct. 21 at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Oct. 22 at 12:01 a.m. PST through Oct. 28 at 11:59 p.m. PST
- Oct. 29 at 12:01 a.m. PST through Nov. 4 at 11:59 p.m. PST

For the month of October, 80 cents from each dollar from three daily no limit hold’em tournaments will be donated to the Save the Ta-tas foundation for breast cancer research. The $10+$1 tournaments take place daily at 3:30 p.m. PST, 6 p.m. PST, and 9:30 p.m. PST. WSOP.com will be donating a minimum of $10,000.
