On Tuesday, partypoker announced the dates for the Premier League VII, and the event will take place at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal from Nov. 20-26, 2013. It was also announced that Tony G — the only player to have played in all seasons of the event — was the first player confirmed.

Joining Tony G will be the leader on the poker's all-time money list, Antonio Esfandiari, as he was confirmed for the event on Thursday. Esfandiari has filled the second of 12 spots on the event roster. On the last edition of the Premier League back in March, Esfandiari took third.

"Very excited to be playing in the Premier League again," said Esfandiari. "Even more excited that it’s in Montreal at the Playground. Love Canada!"

With over $25.5 million in live tournament earnings, three World Series of Poker gold bracelets, and two World Poker Tour titles, Esfandiari will be a welcome addition to the popular televised event.

First place in the event will be set at $350,000, and last time around it was Dan Shak walking away with the victory and the $450,000 first-place prize. The lovely Kara Scott will anchor the coverage, and the always colorful Jesse May will lead commentary.
