PokerStars Announces Mega Path Satellites for the 2014 PCA 0001

On Monday, PokerStars announced the start of Mega Path satellites for the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. PCA Mega satellites run several times a day on PokerStars.com, and players can earn a $15,560 Main Event prize package for as little as 10 Frequent Player Points. The PCA Mega Path is made up of eight tournament steps, and players can buy-in directly at any step and play for one of six Main Event packages at stake in the weekly finals.

In the 10-year history of the PCA, four of the Main Event champions qualified for the tournament online at PokerStars. Dimitar Danchev, winner of the 2013 PCA Main Event, parlayed a $700 satellite on PokerStars into $1,859,000 on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

"Last year, more than 400 players won their seats to the PCA event online, with 53 cashing and taking home more than $3.5 million between them," said David Carrion, Director of Live Operations for PCA and Latin America. "With the Mega Path qualifiers, PokerStars players have six opportunities a week to win a Main Event package to one of the most exciting poker festivals on the planet."

The PCA website has more information, including how to qualify in Italy, Spain, France, Estonia, Belgium, and Denmark, all of which run under their own client.
