Alex Millar & Viktor Blom

On Tuesday, July 23, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, who lost $1.4 million playing online last week, played for over 12 hours and lost an additional $329,000. Some of that went to Alex “IReadYrSoul” Millar, who spent five hours at the Full Tilt Poker $400/$800 no-limit hold’em tables against the Swede.

Prior to that match, Blom had already dropped $298,000 to Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene at a $500/$1,000 cap pot-limit Omaha table, not to mention losses of $100,000 to Kyle “KPR16” Fray and “SallyWoo” at fixed-limit Omaha hi/lo and $61,000 to Niklas “ragen70” Heinecker at no-limit hold’em.

In his match against Millar, which lasted over 1,200 hands, Blom actually pulled out to a $600,000 lead, though in rollercoaster fashion, he gave it all back and then some. Here’s a look at the biggest pot of the match, which came in at $325,600:

When all was said and done, Millar walked away with $247,600 in profit, which was enough to make him the day’s biggest winner. Others who earned a decent payday were Fray (+$85,100), Patrik “Fake Love888” Antonius (+$78,000), and Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky (+$74,300).
