Chad Elie Exclusive, Part 3: Howard Lederer, The Full Tilt Poker Backlog and More

1 min read

Following part 1, and part 2 of our exclusive interview with Chad Elie, in part 3 the discussion turns to his relationship with Howard Lederer, Full Tilt Poker's massive backlog, why he didn't make the backlog information public, and a recollection of his arrest on Black Friday.

Elie was indicted along with ten other men on April 15, 2011 as part of what is now known as the Black Friday indictments. Although he was adamant about fighting the indictment, Elie eventually pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit bank fraud and operating an illegal gambling business in the United States and served a five month prison sentence. Prior to serving his time, Elie opened up to the poker community through his twitter account @BlackFridayChad and has been eager to shed light on the poker payment processing industry.
