Play Fantasy Poker Manager with the PokerNews.com Team 0001

If you haven't signed up for Fantasy Poker Manager in time for the 2013 World Series of Poker, you're missing out on a lot of fun and some major sweats this summer. Zokay Entertainment, parent company of the Global Poker Index, made the Fantasy Poker Manager a worldwide phenomenon this year when it became the official fantasy poker game of the WSOP. Right now, thousands upon thousands of users are creating teams for several different WSOP events, switching out players based on attendance, strength in each game, and salary.

For anyone new to the concept of fantasy poker, let us explain. Like rotisserie fantasy football, each owner is given a budget to select a roster of players. Points are awarded based on in-the-money finishes from real poker events. Your position in the standings will be determined by the performance of your players, so pick your team wisely.

Each team begins with an available budget of 1 million credits, which owners can use to purchase up to 10 players. Player value is determined by two factors: (1) Global Poker Index ranking, and (2) a popularity factor that can increase or decrease.
