Win a Seat to the ISPT Main Event Through a Last Longer Contest at EPT Grand Final!
The inaugural International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) event at Wembley Stadium is just weeks away, and organizers have announced a new and unique way for players to win a place into the €3,000 Main Event.
A promotion entitled Last Longer, First in Wembley will see the winners of two last longer competitions at the 2013 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino EPT Grand Final have a chance to take part in Day 2 of the ISPT Wembley event starting on May 31. The EPT stop in Monaco kicked off on Monday, May 6 and will run through Wednesday, May 15.
ISPT-run Last Longer contests are being offered for players who plan on playing the €10,000 buy-in EPT Grand Final Main Event and the €1,000 Monaco Cup. The winner of the ISPT Last Longer for each tournament will win a seat worth €3,000 for Day 2 of the ISPT Main Event. A bonus will be offered to the winner of the Last Longer of the EPT Grand Final Main Event: two tickets for the Champions League final taking place at Wembley on May 25, one week before the start of the ISPT Main Event.
The promotion is open to all players who wear the ISPT logo or ISPT jacket that will be provided ISPT representatives at EPT Grand Final in Monaco. Those who go deepest in the tournaments will win packages to the ISPT Main Event.
According to the ISPT, more than 500 players have already taken part in the Last Longer, First in Wembley promotions held in Barcelona, Madrid, Cannes, Middelkerke, Tangiers and San Remo. If you're in Monaco and haven't won your seat to the ISPT in any of the Day 1 feeder events, don't miss out on the last longer competitions this month! Day 1 of the first ISPT Main Event is taking place online through May 19 at Poker770.com, Poker770.es, Partouche.fr, and MyPok.fr. Up to 30,000 players have been competing in the €300 buy-in Day 1s across those online poker rooms, and only two Day 1s (May 12 and May 19) are remaining before the action moves to the live realm.
Ten percent of the €300 buy-in Day 1 fields advance to the live portion of the tournament in London, where action will take place on the Wembley lawn from Days 2 through 6. Players competing in the live portion will begin with 5,000 in chips with blinds starting at 10/20 with levels lasting 15 minutes.
Players will also have the option of buying in directly for €3,000 in London. Those players will begin Day 2 on June 1 with 50,000 chips, with blinds starting at 100/200 and levels lasting 60 minutes. Among the players expected to participate at Wembley include ISPT ambassadors Patrik Antonius, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Sam Trickett, Liz Lieu, and David Benyamine.
