With the 2013 World Series of Poker just five weeks away, poker's largest festival of the year is right around the corner. Every poker player and fan dreams about the WSOP and chasing the elusive gold bracelet, but not everyone has the money to play in an event at the Series.

There are plenty of ways to qualify for WSOP events that are much cheaper than the actual buy-in of an event, and one of the best ways to satellite in is through the live WSOP satellites that run at the Rio during the summer.

Satellites will be running daily so you can win your way to one of the 62 WSOP gold bracelet events. These satellite events begin May 29, 2013 — the first day of the WSOP — and will run through July 8. These satellites will take place inside the massive Pavilion Ballroom in the Rio.

With prices to enter these satellite events starting as low as $75, there's surely something for everyone. There is also a decent variety of events with mega satellites, single-table satellites and turbo satellites all available.

Turbo mega satellites begin May 30 at 9 a.m. local time and will run daily. These cost $75 to enter and will be played as no-limit hold'em.

Mega satellites begin May 29 and run through July 4. These events run daily at 4 p.m. for the $330 buy-in and 8 p.m. for the $550 buy-in. Most will be played as full-ring no-limit hold'em, but it is important to note that some of the 8 p.m. mega satellites will be played in the following formats:

DateFormat
June 4Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low Split
June 6Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em
June 8Pot-Limit Hold’em
June 12Omaha Hi-Low Split
June 14H.O.R.S.E.
June 17Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em
June 19Limit Hold'em
June 21Six-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha
June 222-7 Draw Lowball (No-Limit)
June 27Six-Handed No-Limit Hold’em
July 4Pot-Limit Omaha

With the addition of the $111,111 One Drop High Roller event that begins on June 26, two satellites will be held for the event on June 24 and 25. Both will cost $5,200, but that's far cheaper than the big six-figure buy-in of the event. It's also an amount that can be easily won in a smaller single-table satellite, so one could choose to satellite into the satellite, per say. These two satellites will be played as no-limit hold'em.

From June 26 through 29, four $2,250 satellites will take place at 7 p.m. each of those days for a chance to win an entry into the $50,000 Poker Players Championship that begins on June 30.

Last, but certainly not least, we have the WSOP Main Event satellites for a chance to win your way into the greatest tournament on the face of the Earth.

From July 4 through 8, various satellites will be held for the Main Event as follows:
