The Sunday Briefing: Team PokerStars' Pessagno Takes Down Sunday 2nd Chance
It was a busy day on the virtual felt on Sunday. Not only did the 22nd installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) kick off, which saw Tom “hitthehole” Middleton win Event #1 for $61,000, but there was a full slate of tournaments over on PokerStars. Interestingly, Middleton had some success there as well, finishing 16th in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $2,105.40.
Other notables who had success on Sunday were Bryan “bparis” Paris and Team PokerStars’ Caio “Pessagno” Pessagno. The former topped a field of 3,273 to take down the PokerStars Bigger $109 for $46,783.06, and the latter won $38,002.01 for his victory in the PokerStars Sunday 2nd Chance.
