Full Tilt Poker's MiniFTOPS XXI Under Way with $3 Million in Guarantees
Full Tilt Poker's MiniFTOPS XXI kicked off with a bang on Sunday, Jan. 6, as Event #1 smashed its $300,000 guarantee by generating a prize pool of $474,780. The $22 no-limit hold'em tournament was taken down by "thejuice514," who outlasted a field of 23,739 to collect the top prize of $62,341.
The $3 million guaranteed MiniFTOPS features the same 35 events as the recent FTOPS XXI series, but with one-tenth the buy-in for each event. The series will run through Jan. 20, culminating with the $75 buy-in multi-entry Main Event with a $750,000 guarantee.
Each of the first four MiniFTOPS through Monday eclipsed their respective guaranteed prize pool. Here's a look at the results:
