The 2012 World Series of Poker Europe descended onto the Majestic Barrière in Cannes, France, for 13 days of poker action. There were quite a few winning moments in Week 1 , but Week 2 was filled with some controversy and a little bit of history was made. Thanks to PartyPoker ,PokerNews' Live Reporting Team has been on the ground, covering all of the action, and Jonathan Boncek was there to snap photos of all of the exciting moments.

Ana Marquez made the final table of Event #6: €1,650 Six-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha where she went on to finish runner-up to Francisco Da Costa Santos. For her finish, Marquez won €51,443 for her first-ever live PLO result.
Upon winning the event, Francisco Da Costa Santos bear hugged Ana Marquez and spun her around in a whirlwind during the congratulatory embrace. Santos stated that he had just recently started playing Pot-Limit Omaha four months prior.
Francisco Da Costa Santos, winner of Event #6: €1,650 Six-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha, was by far and away the most animated winner of this WSOP Europe.
