Online betting exchange Matchbook.com has unveiled its roster of sponsored pros for the 2012 World Series of Poker.

2011 European Player of the Year Sam Trickett headlines the 10-man team, which boasts more than $20 million in live tournaments cashes and millions more in cash game earnings. Trickett has announced that he will be playing the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop tournament from July 1 through 3 in Las Vegas. The highly anticipated event is expected to draw 48 players and generate a prize pool of more than $40 million.

"It was an easy choice partnering with Matchbook for the WSOP," said Trickett, who parted ways with Titan Poker earlier this month. "Not only are all the players extremely talented but the majority of the team are also very good friends. It’s a unique environment to have as a poker team but provides us all with added support. I’m sure we are all going to have a fun and profitable summer together."

The Matchbook team will also be represented by high-stakes cash game superstar Dan "Jungleman" Cates. While he doesn't have any major live tournament wins under his belt yet, Cates is widely regarded as one of the best cash game players in the world. According to HighStakesDB.com, Cates has more than $7 million in online cash game profits during his brief poker career.

Others donning the Matchbook logo this summer will be WSOP bracelet winners JP Kelly and Matt Perrins, as well as Roberto Romanello, James Akenhead, Martins Adeniya, Ben Vinson, Jarred Solomon, and last year's WSOP Main Event final table bubble boy John Hewitt.

Each Matchbook Pro can be followed on matchbookmedia.com, a newly launched sports content site that will be going live on June 1. The site will provide blogs and updates from all the players at this year’s WSOP and beyond.

"Although Matchbook doesn’t have a poker product we are striving to become the number one destination for all poker betting and have just put up some markets for this year’s WSOP which cover bracelet bets and special match ups for the One Drop tournament," said Josh Green, Matchbook’s marketing manager. "The volume and liquidity we are taking for these bets is unrivalled."

Matchbook's WSOP betting markets can be found at Matchbook.com.
