The PokerStars Blog recently announced that this Sat., May 5 at 2 p.m. EDT, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu will engage in a $200/$400 limit heads-up battle, aptly billed as the Limit Hold'em Challenge, against “rUaBot,” a well-known limit hold’em specialist.

The two will play 1,250 hands across two tables, each starting with a $75,000 bankroll. Whoever has more chips in the end will win.

"In my opinion, fixed limit is more strategic than no limit," “rUaBot” told the PokerStars Blog. "In no-limit, you always have some guessing games like 'would he bluff here or wouldn't he?.' Of course, such situations often happen in fixed-limit, too, but there is much more space for general strategic adaptions than in no-limit. I think, setting up your standard game is pure math, but exploiting your opponents patterns is an art...and will always be!"

The Limit Hold’em Challenge is not a one-time deal as other matches are planned for the future, giving high-stakes players an opportunity to square off against one another on a highly publicized stage. Of course, poker fans are encouraged to watch the action by logging on to PokerStars at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
