2012 Aussie Millions Day 6: Dan "djk123" Kelly Wins Event #2; Event #3 Final Table Set
On Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, Event #2 of the 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship took place at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha event drew 129 players, creating a prize pool of $129,000. Young Internet star Dan “djk123” Kelly emerged victorious and captured the AUD$33,400 first-place prize.
Kelly overcame a stacked field comprised of an eclectic mix of international and Australian players including Sam Holden, James Dempsey, McLean Karr, Billy “The Croc” Argyros, Leo Boxell, Mel Judah, and Van Marcus.

Event #3: $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout
On Tuesday in Melbourne, Event #3: $1,100 No Limit Hold’em Shootout got under way and met its cap of 150 players. McLean Karr, Vitaly Lunkin, Van Marcus, Billy Argyros, Maria Ho, Jonathan Karamalikis, and Marc Convey, were among those who entered Event #3. In fact, Karr barely missed out on making his second final table in a row, falling just short in 12th place.
The final table kicks off at 1200 AEST Wednesday (1700 PST Tuesday). Here's how the final table stacks up:
