On Wednesday, PokerStars announced that the Grand Final of Season 4's Latin American Poker Tour will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The R$4,000 LAPT Grand Final will take place from Feb. 17 through Feb. 20, 2012, which means it will run alongside one of Brazil's biggest festivals — Carnival.

The Sheraton World Trade Center Sao Paulo will host this year's Grand Final, which was first added to the LAPT schedule in Argentina last year. Peruvian PokerStars qualifier Martin Sansour emerged to win the first LAPT Grand Final and a top prize of more than $300,000.

Season 4 of the LAPT began in Sao Paulo and has since made stops in Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Colombia. The first stop in Sao Paulo attracted the largest LAPT field, 536 players, but that record was broken in Chile and then again in Colombia in October when 681 players settled into Medellin.

In addition to the 2012 LAPT Grand Final Main Event, there will be a variety of side events to take part in. Here's a look at the schedule of the LAPT Grand Final festivities:
