On Thursday, innovative online poker site PKR.com revealed British poker pro Jake Cody as the newest member of PKR's roster of sponsored pros. Cody, poker's youngest Triple Crown winner, will represent Team PKR at tournaments around the world and on the virtual felt of PKR's 3D poker room.

The 22-year-old superstar has won major titles at the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour and World Poker Tour, making him one of the most accomplished tournament players in the world. He's one of only four players in poker history to win each leg of poker's Triple Crown. Gavin Griffin, Roland de Wolfe and Bertrand Grospellier are the others.

Cody joins Vladimir "Beyne" Geshkenbein, Scott Shelley, Sofia "welllbet" Lovgren, James "james666" Sudworth, Sascha "locodice" Walter and Marc "Waswini" Bariller on Team PKR. Shelley earned some media attention by winning a WSOP Europe bracelet in 2010, and the addition of Cody will undoubtedly enhance the identity of PKR's pro team.

"I'm very excited about joining Team PKR Pro" said Cody, who recently took seventh place at the WSOP Europe Main Event. "I've been patient with sponsorship, waiting for the right deal to come along. When I spoke to PKR I was really impressed with the whole setup and the ideas that they have going forward, and I knew straight away I wanted to be part of it! It's a great site to be involved with right now and I think I can help take it to the next level."
