Sin City Series: E.J. Whitten Charity Poker Tournament
Each week, PokerNews brings you a new video from the Sin City Series, showcasing the happenings of Las Vegas. This week we decided to mix it up and take it down under to Melbourne, Australia. It's not quite Sin City, but the Las Vegas Room of Crown Casino is close enough, in our books.
Sunday night, Tony Hachem and Crown Casino hosted the E.J. Whitten Charity Poker Tournament. Funds raised from the tournament were donated to the E.J. Whitten Foundation. The foundation was named in honor of Australian Football Hall of Fame legend, AFL Team of the Century captain, and 1954 premiership player, Ted “Mr. Football” Whitten, in aid of prostate cancer research. The event attracted over 300 players and Lynn Gilmartin was there to check out the red carpet — and try her hand at some poker.
