Around the WSOP with Lynn Gilmartin: Week #4

2 min read

We're into the fourth week here at the 42nd Annual World Series of Poker, usually the point when we have a lull in excitement. Players are tilting from being 1 for 20 in cashes, the media is exhausted after writing their 4,000th hand or filming their 150th interview, and everyone is eager for the Main Event to finally arrive. But this year is different. Well, for me and those around me it seems to be!

As you can see from my favorite four videos of the week, we're still having a ball around the Rio. Or even outside the Rio, as shown in the following episode of Blow Your Bankroll where I went to Sugar Factory at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino to sample a $1,000 Gold Chocolate Fondue and hold a diamond-encrusted lollipop that retails for $1,000,000! Yes, one million dollars.

The Weekly Turbo always gets a spot in my top four. How can it not when it jam packs all the highlights into less than ten minutes? Here you can see all of our top bracelet winners and highlights from last week.

Calling the Clock is always my favorite segment to shoot and to watch. This week, I pulled Beth Shak aside for a minute of laughs, although I certainly wasn't expecting some of these brilliant answers!

Devilfish. Not much more needs to be said except for Sarah Grant and brass knuckles. Brilliant.
