The PokerStars Super Tuesday drew a crowd of 348 players this week, all battling for the first-place prize of $68,250. When the field was whittled down to the last two players, Stefan "I'am_Sound" Huber overcame a 2-to-1 chip deficit to take down the prize money and the tournament. Among the best finishers short of the final table were Shawn "slimshaggy" Luman in 15th ($4,200), Ryan "ONEyouENVY" Rapaski in 17th ($3,500) and Nick "FU_15" Maimone in 20th ($2,450). Going into the final table, the chip counts were as follows:

Alex "Schildy1984" Debus — 298,031

MegaLodn — 156,848

Stefan "I'am_Sound" Huber — 123,183

Bradley "FatsoFat6969" Craig — 115,916

Ross "tysonduke23" Mallor — 92,150

Chris "herdgolf86" Tipper — 78,995

jullle — 60,415

BriDge2PaiN — 60,662

Anthony "D1rtyR1v3r" Nardi — 57,800

Chris "herdgolf86" Tipper exited during the 1,500/3,000/300 level. He was all in for his last 69,096 with 99 and appeared to be in good shape facing I'am_Sound's A8. But the board fell J58108 and I'am_Sound rivered trip eights to send Tipper home in ninth for $6,125. A few hands later, jullle was also eliminated by I'am_Sound. All in with AK, the hapless jullle ran into I'am_Sound's AA. The board ran out Q4572 and jullle was out in eighth place for $8,750. Anthony "D1rtyR1v3r" Nardi was the next to fall, this elimination coming at the hands of BriDge2PaiN. He raised to 7,500 from the button and Nardi went all in from the small blind for 54,050 with AJ. BriDge2PaiN called with 99 and won the race as the board came 736K8. Nardi pocketed $12,250 for seventh place.

MegaLodn hit the rail at 2,000/4,000/400. I'am_Sound min-raised to 8,000 on the button and MegaLodn went all in for 60,562 in the small blind with A10. Unfortunately for MegaLodn, I'am_Sound called and tabled a dominating KK. The board ran out 7AKQ3 as MegaLodn hit one of his outs, but still lost to I'am_Sound's set of kings. MegaLodn earned $15,750 for his sixth-place finish. At the end of the level, tysonduke23 was felted after making an opening raise to 9,000 in middle position. I'am_Sound reraised to 25,000 out of the big blind and tysonduke23 shoved for 144,517. Holding 99, I'am_Sound called, and was racing against tysonduke23's AJ. The board fell 46Q710 and tysonduke23's tournament was over in fifth place for $20,125.

The remaining four players discussed a chop, and a deal was agreed upon, guaranteeing each player the following and leaving $10,000 to the winner:

I'am_Sound — $51,662.12

BriDge2PaiN — $45,121.67

Schildy1984 — $40,905.36

FatsoFat6969 — $40,085.85

Shortly after play resumed, FatsoFat6969 headed for the exit during the 3,000/6,000/600 level. Schildy1984 raised to 13,999 from the cutoff and FatsoFat6969 pushed all in for 95,935. Schildy1984 called with AK and had FatsoFat6969's A8 dominated. No miracle here for FatsoFat6969, as the board rolled out K55AJ and he was out in fourth place for $40,085.85. Schildy1984's taste of victory was brief, however, as he would bust next, holding K10 against BriDge2PaiN's K5. The board came 3A10J3 as BriDge2PaiN made a winning flush. Schildy1984 collected $40,905.36 for third place.

Heads-up play began with BriDge2PaiN holding a 2-to-1 chip lead, but I'am_Sound battled back to take the lead and win the tournament. On the final hand at 5,000/10,000/1,000, I'am_Sound min-raised to 20,000 and BriDge2PaiN called. The flop came 352 and BriDge2PaiN check-raised all in for 253,304. I'am_Sound called with A5 and had BriDge2PaiN's K5 in big trouble. The turn and river came J and 3, as BriDge2PaiN finished in second place for $45,121.67. The winner of the PokerStars Super Tuesday was I'am_Sound for $61,662.12.
