On your mark, get set, poker!

On Saturday, the Wallowa County Gamblers Snowmobile Club will host their annual Poker Run at the Salt Creek Summit Sno-Park near Enterprise, Oregon.

Participants will pick up poker cards at six spots along a 30-mile trail, starting at Salt Creek Cabin. Prizes will be awarded for the three highest poker hands collected during the day.

“There’s not a lot of snow, but we had fresh snow last weekend, so it should be good,” Lorien James, one of the organizers of the annual event, told Wallowa.com. “We have some incredible auction items donated this year,” she said, estimating the value of items to be auctioned off or given away in the raffle at a total of $2,000."

There will also be a dinner, silent auction, and raffle. For just $10 per plate, attendants will dine on chicken friend steak.
