We chatted with Amanda Musumeci as she was railing a friend in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Six-handed tournament. On Wednesday, Musumeci finished second in Event #9: $1,500 Hold’em Re-entry for $481,643.
Were you disappointed with second place?
Yeah, but a $480,000 cash isn’t so bad, right? It takes the sting out of it.
What was the first thing you did after the big cash?
I went to Walmart to buy shampoo [laughs]. I also bought a $300 Acer laptop from there too. It was a spite Jew move by me [laughs].
Name some of the toughest players you’ve had on your left thus far?
Brian Rast, Scott Sevier, and Doc Sands.
If you had to play someone heads up for eternity, who would it be?
My boyfriend Ryan [Poker Pro [B]Ryan Eriquezzo[/B]]. That’s a face I could look at forever. It’s so cute.
What’s the next event you’re playing?
The $1,500 tomorrow (Event 19# $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em).
