Baranov Eliminated

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Another player has hit the rail here in the €100,000 Super High Roller, and this time it was 2012 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event runner-up Sergii Baranov.

Baranov was all in preflop with the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} against the {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. It was gathered from the chatter at the table following the display of the hands that Seiver made what looked like way too good of a squeeze play that caused Baranov to shove in. Seiver actually had a hand, which Baranov didn't like to see.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}, and despite being well behind preflop, Baranov spiked three fours to take the lead. His dreams would be short lived, though, as the {J-Spades} on the turn vaulted Seiver right back in front with a full house. The river completed the board with the {10-Clubs}, and Baranov was out the door.
