Day 3 Completed

"Nlzkm9" Victorious in WCOOP-92-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event] for Second Title {$128,665)

Level 41 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

Hungary's "Nlzkm9" secured their second World Championship of Online (WCOOP) title, being the final player standing in WCOOP-92-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event] for a $128,665 payday.

Six years on from their first WCOOP title in Event #15: $215 PL Omaha [1R1A], "Nlzkm9" triumphed over Danish player "AlexKP" in heads-up play in quick fashion. Despite the heartbreak that comes with narrowly missing out on a WCOOP title, the Dane can take solace in the second place prize of $90,593. To go along with this score, the same player was also the runner-up in today's WCOOP-92-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event] netting them an extra $237,169, for a combined days earnings of $327,762.

The PLO tournament attracted 758 entries, creating a $780,000 prize pool. Notable names in the tournament included PokerStars Ambassadors Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis.

There were a host of WSOP Gold Bracelet winners in the mix too, Joao "Naza114" Vieira, Nuno "BrigaDatada" Capucho, Connor "blanconegro" Drinan, Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress and Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood all cashed in the event however neither made it through to Day 3.

Day 1 ended after over 15x20 minute levels with Day 2 seeing 271 players battling it out; until the final 17 made it through to Day 3. Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg was the final table bubble for $14,118 after his flopped two pair was counterfeited on the river by "AlexKP".

Final Table Action

Rob "robc1978" Cowen was the first player to fall on the final table being eliminated by "Grekzorba". Next to exit was Brazil's "HudsonCE", who had flopped a set of fives, only for "AlexKP" to hit their gut-shot straight draw on the river.

"wnbgambler", gone in fifth, was another player who experienced an unfortunate river card, as "edu22.sp" hit a third queen to move ahead of their top pair top kicker. "AAlexKP" then got their second final table scalp ridding "Grekzorba" from the tournament in fourth place.

"AlexKP" then secured a hat-trick of eliminations after flopping two-pair against the ace high of "edu22.sp". "AlexKP" lost a huge pot in the fourth hand of heads-up play to have an impossible task in front of him, they held on for a few more hands before "Nlzmkm9" went runner-runner to scoop the pot and WCOOP title.

That wraps up the PokerNews live reporting team's coverage of the WCOOP-92-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event]. Be sure to check out the team's reporting on other PokerStars WCOOP events as the series winds down.

"AlexKP" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($90,593)

Level 41 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

"Nlzkm9" must have thought they had one hand on the WCOOP title after scooping a 71 million pot just a few hands prior. "AlexKP" who was ahead preflop, with two kings in their hand, was left with less than 4.5 million after their opponent turned a full house.

In the final hand of the final day, "AlexKP" raised to 1.5 million with "Nlzkm9" making the flat call. As expected, the remainder of the chips were shipped into the middle on the {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

"Nlzkm9": {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}
"AlexKP": {3-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

On the flop, "Nlzkm9" only had a pair of fours but improved to two pair on the {9-Clubs} turn. It would be the second time in quick succession for "AlexKP" where their opponent would go runner-runner to make a full house on the {9-Spades} river.

"edu22.sp" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($63,786)

Level 41 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

"edu22.sp" eventually ran out of luck against "AlexKP" who called the Brazilian's 3.5 million three-bet preflop. They followed up their three-bet, firing for 5 million on the {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop. "AlexKP" responded by putting his opponent all-in and "edu22.sp" reluctantly obliged with the bet.

"AlexKP": {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}
"edu22.sp": {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

"AlexKP" with two-pair was out in front against his opponents ace-high, the {6-Hearts} turn gave "edu22.sp" a glimmer of a chance of survival, but that hope was crushed by the {7-Clubs} to take the game to heads up play.

"Grekzorba" Eliminated in 4th Place ($44,912)

Level 41 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

The next hand after leaving "Grekzorba" with a stack of 2.1 million, "AlexKP" finished off his opponent's WCOOP dream.

"Grekzorba" went all-in over the raise from "AlexKP" and had two callers in "edu22.sp" and original raiser "AlexKP". The {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop checked through to the {8-Hearts} turn which checked through again. "AlexKP" fired small in the river to get "edu22.sp" out of the way before showing "Grekzorba" their rivered straight for the win.

"edu22.sp" Gets Another Double

Level 41 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

Both players moved in their stacks in a single raised pot after the flop brought in the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. "AlexKP" flopped the nut-straight with his opponent hitting a set of tens.

The turn and river came running three's, which aided "edu22.sp" chances of winning the tournament by giving him a full house.

"Grekzorba" Survives Aginst "AlexKP"

Level 40 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

"AlexKP": {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
"Grekzorba": {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

"Grekzorba" was in a precarious position on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop before holding on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river.

"Nlzkm9" Doubles Up Through "Grekzorba"

Level 40 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

"Nlzkm9" raised to 3.4 million in the small blind after "Grekzorba" opened to 800,000. The latter called the raise to see the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. All the chips went in on the flop to create a huge 29.8 million pot.

"Nlzkm9" was ahead with their aces, and then improved to set on the {a-Diamonds} turn. "Grekzorba" needed a jack on the river to bust his opponent but was left with little after the {6-Clubs} river.

"wnbgambler" Eliminated in 5th Place ($31,623)

Level 40 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

"wnbgambler" raised to 1.4 million before calling off the rest of their stack after "edusp.22" three-bet in the big blind.

"edu22.sp": {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
"wnbgambler": {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

"wnbgambler" stayed in the lead on the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and {6-Spades} with top pair but the {q-Spades} river gave his opponent three of a kind to claim the pot.
