Antonio Esfandiari Bluffs It All

In the last hand before the break it was Martin Jacobson who opened under the gun. His next door neighbor, Antonio Esfandiari, made the call, and so did Stephen Chidwick (button) and Marcelo Manfredini (big blind).

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Manfredini checked to the initial raiser. Jacobson checked as well, and action was on Esfandiari. Esfandiari made a bet of 3,000, and Chidwick quickly released. Manfredini made the call, and Jacobson folded after giving it some thought.

The {7-Diamonds} hit the turn, and Manfredini checked again. Esfandiari seemed determined and made a bet of 5,300. Manfredini wasted no time (or time breaker chips for that matter) and called.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board, and Manfredini checked a third time. Esfandiari shoved all in for his last 30,000, and Manfredini glanced over his glasses before casually making the call.

Esfandiari tabled the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Manfredini revealed his {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for the winner. Esfandiari was out, but he has the option to buy back in of course.
