Eyster Doubles Through Campanello; Takes Chip Lead

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Kevin Eyster - Your New Chip Leader
Kevin Eyster - Your New Chip Leader

Kevin Eyster raised to 16,000 from the hijack only to have Bryan Campanello make it 40,000 to go from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Eyster and he slid out a four-bet to 88,000. Campanello flatted to see a flop.

The dealer spread {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the felt and Eyster continued out for 77,000. Campanello called, prompting the rail to inch closer to the table in an attempt to view the growing action. The {K-Diamonds} hit the table on the turn and Eyster immediately moved all in for just over 230,000. Campanello went into the tank.

Right around three minutes passed while Campanello pondered his action. Ultimately, he plopped forward calling chips and the hands were turned on their backs.

Campanello: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Eyster: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Eyster was in the lead with his aces over Campanello's pair of tens. The {K-Clubs} finished off the board and Eyster scooped a massive pot to propel him into the chip lead. Eyster now has about 825,000 in chips. Campanello, on the other hand, has been reduced to just around 90,000.
