Obrestad Can't Fade The River

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

After a player in early position opened to 600, Annette Obrestad called from the next seat over. The player in the big blind called, too, and the flop came down {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Action was checked to Obrestad and she bet 900. Only the player in the big blind called to see the {A-Spades} turn and he immediately shoved for 9,525. Obrestad mulled it over for about 45 seconds before she called.

Her opponent tabled {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush draw to go along with an open-ended straight draw, though Obrestad tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and had some of her opponent's outs. However, the {9-Diamonds} landed on the river to give Obrestad's opponent a straight to win the pot and double up.
