Wenjian Qiu Eliminated in 14th Place (NZ$5,950)
Level 15
: 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Jon Pierre Narbey continues to run white hot with a massive cooler of a flop that saw him send William Qiu crashing to the rail.
We picked it up on the turn with the board already reading . Qiu led out for 20,000 from the blinds and Narbey called as Asj Taylor got out of the way before the completed the board.
With straight, flush and full house possibilities out there, Qiu quickly announced himself all in for a total of 94,000. Narbey thought for a few moments before making the call.
Qiu proudly opened for the flopped six-high straight but that was trumped by Narbey who tabled for the seven-high straight. Qiu was out in 14th as Narbey is now a clear chip leader with a stack of 380,000.
