Voth Over-Bet Works to Trap Sekularac
PokerNews ran into Ognjen Sekularac and he was saying how he was over 200,000 only for a few annoying pots to go against him. He thought it was a break so was going to clear his head. After he realised that the break wasn't for another level he sat back down and immediately lost a massive pot with a hero river call.
Ronny Voth raised to 2,400 from the cut-off and was called by Sekularac and Timothy Adams in the big blind. The flop fanned and Adams led for 3,600. Both players called to see the turn and Voth bet 13,500 when the action got to him. Only Sekularac called.
Things got really interesting on the river as Voth bet a massive 90,000. It represented most of the Serbian's remaining stack and required deep thought. After a few minutes he asked Voth if he would show one card if he folded. No response came. After another minute Sekularac called and saw Voth slam down for a full house.
Sekularac nodded, mucked and shook his head that is clearly not in a clear place right now.
