Wong Scoops Massive Pot From Fair

Jerry Wong
Jerry Wong

Jerry Wong opened to 120,000 from the hijack. It folded to Ryan Fair's small blind and he three-bet to 250,000. Wong called and the flop brought {3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Fair continued for 345,000 and Wong decided to stick around.

Fourth street brought the {5-Spades} and Fair kept up his aggression with a 465,000 chip bet. Wong called yet again.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Fair slowed down with a check. Wong moved 1.075 million into the middle and Fair thought for a moment before calling. Wong flipped over {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a heart flush and Fair threw his cards into the muck.

With this win Wong is now sitting on roughly 8.4 million in chips while our one-time chip leader, Fair, has become the shortest stack at the table.
