Jeff Rossiter Eliminated in 9th Place (€38,650)

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst opened for 52,000 from middle position and was met by a three-bet to 135,000 by Jeff Rossiter in the small blind. The big folded, Selbst called, and it was heads-up action to the flop. Rossiter fired out 170,000 and then snap-called off for approximately 500,000 when Selbst announced that she was all in.

Selbst winced a bit upon discovering she held the inferior kicker, but shortly thereafter the dealer burned and turned the to give her a straight. Rossiter could only shake his head and watched helplessly as the blanked on the river.

"Sorry," Selbst offered Rossiter, who took home €38,650 for his ninth-place finish. It was no doubt a disappointing end to the tournament, but it's yet another score in a year where Rossiter has amassed more than $3.7 million in winnings.
