"They Don't Fold in Australia, Huh?"
We just saw a highly entertaining hand go down at Table 10 between Antonio Esfandiari and Norah Greer.
We happened upon the action with 14,000 already in the pot and a board reading . We're not sure of the exact action, but Esfandiari had a big pile of chips out in front of him and Greer, who only had 9,125 behind, was in the tank.
Apparently she had been thinking for seven minutes before calling off and Esfandiari turned over for air. Greer then tabled and the railbird went wild. Even Esfandiari seemed amused. "I thought I had you," he joked. "Nice call. They don't fold in Australia, huh?"
