The Final Table Looms!

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

A massive hand has seen Kenneth Leong rocket to the chip lead as we near the final table.

The hand started with Leong opening to 45,000 from the hijack, and was called by Vladimir Troyanovskiy to his immediate left. The flop came down {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and Leong instantly bet out 50,000. Troyanovskiy made the call and stared down Leong, as the dealer tabled the {8-Spades} on the turn. Leong paused for a moment, before betting out 135,000, as Troyanovskiy’s glance shifted to the board. He then tanked for a few minutes before raising to 300,000 as the pressure was applied back on Leong. He then thought looked down at his stack, thought for a minute, and made the call as the {4-Diamonds} completed the board. Leong quickly announced all in for 500,000, which took Troyanovskiy by surprise, before he made the call, only to jump out of his chair in shock, when Leong tabled the {k-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for a rivered flush.

Troyanovskiy showed his {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for a straight, and stood away from the table with his hands on his head, stunned by the sudden turn of events. His elimination means we have just one more bust-out to sweat before we arrive at our final table.
