Matt Damon is an American actor, film producer and screenwriter and is best known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan and the Ocean's Trilogy. He co-wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting, which won both him and Ben Affleck an Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
In the poker world he is best known for the 1998 film Rounders, in which he played aspiring poker player Mike McDermott.

In 1998, Damon entered the WSOP Main Event but was eliminated on Day 1 after running pocket kings into the pocket aces of Doyle Brunson
Over ten years later, Damon visited the WSOP again, playing in the 2009 Ante Up for Africa Charity Event, but was eliminated short of the money. Here is a video featuring some of his best hands from that event:
