Niklas Astedt started his online poker career playing freeroll tournaments but transitioned to cash games. Astedt played cash games while he was figuring out poker's nuances and admits to following poor bankroll management.
Astedt switched back to tournament poker when he was 24, and he has never looked back. Since transitioning to online multi-table tournaments, Astedt has accumulated over $47 million in cashes. More than 45 of Astedt's online cashes are worth more than $100,000, with six worth at least $400,000.
In October 2023, Astedt finished fourth in the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) and walked away with $408,827. His largest online score came in June 2021 at GGPoker.
