Gilboa, intrigued but ultimately hesitant, requested a count from the dealer. However, faced with the prospect of calling Macori's 1,985,000, he opted to fold his hand. Murcia, on the other hand, wasted no time in making the call, and both players revealed pocket kings.

Saad Spikes the Turn to Double

Guillaume Nolet raised to 240,000 in the hijack and Atanas Malinov called in the cutoff. Elie Saad then moved all in for 2,530,000 in the small blind and Nolet folded, but Malinov called to put Saad at risk.

Marco Gambini raised to 250,000 in middle position before Alisa Sibgatova moved all in for 720,000 in the hijack. Pierre Basile then reraised to 1,200,000 in the small blind.

Gambini didn't realize Basile had raised and just put in the chips to call Sibgatova. He was forced to put in the extra chips and they saw a flop of 9♠6♠5♣.

Basile then moved all in for 4,000,000 and Gambini snap-called.

A shocked Basile headed for the rail amidst a stream of profanity while Gambini, who was down to just 300,000 at one point today, took the tournament chip lead.

The turn was the A♠ and Basile bet another 600,000. Gambini again called and both players checked the 3♣ river.

Gambini turned over A♦7♠ for a pair of aces and Basile mucked.

The next hand, Remy Murcia raised to 200,000 under the gun and Gambini called in the small blind, as did big blind Alisa Sibgatova.

Murcia continued for 100,000 on the 2♦K♣3♦ and Gambini raised to 250,000. Sibgatova folded, while Murcia called.

The J♥ turn was checked through and the 4♠ fell on the river. Gambini then bet 400,000 and Murcia called.
